Projects enter the Public Investment Management System (PIMS) through the Secretariat generally first as a Project Concept.

When the initial concept is approved by the Public Investment Management Committee (PIMC) , the project is then further developed into a proposal by the Ministry, Department or Agency and re-submitted for final approval.

With PIMC approval of the project proposal, the project may then proceed to gaining Cabinet approval, seeking fiscal budgetary space and entry into the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP).

The following template forms are used for project submission to the Public Investment Management System (PIMS)  through the Public Investment Management Secretariat (PIMSEC);

  1. Project Concept Summary
  2. Project Proposal Form

The Public Investment Management Secretariat is available to guide all public sector entities smoothly through this process.
