Effective April 1, 2005 the Government’s financial accounting system will be unable to produce cheques for customers, clients, employees and pensioners who do not have valid TRNs.
It is therefore prudent that all customers, clients, employees and pensioners of Government Ministries/Departments/Agencies submit a valid TRN to the respective Government Ministries/Departments/Agencies, as early as possible, to facilitate the processing of payments.
Companies/customers should also submit TRNs for their respective branches.
