Arthur Williams is an Attorney-at-Law and a Jamaica Labour Party member of the Senate of Jamaica and a Minister of Government.
He attended Munro College and the University of the West Indies. He did his First Degree – a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Government and then a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and has a Certificate in Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School. He has been a practicing Attorney-at-Law since 1978.
Mr. Williams is currently Chairman of the Jamaica Labour Party’s Legal and Constitutional Committee.
He has been a Jamaica Labour Party Senator since November 2002 and since September 2007, has been Minister of State in the Ministry of National Security and later in the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service.
