Scholarships

The Scholarships and Assistance Unit, Public Service Establishment Division, manages the GOJ Civil Service Training  Programme and acts as Point of Contact for the various donor Agencies and Countries offering technical assistance to the Government under bilateral and multilateral agreements. In this regard, this office is responsible for disseminating information on training and study opportunities as they become available. For all the courses, unless otherwise stated, application forms are available at this office.


 

The Department of Human Development, Education and Employment of the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development presents its compliments to the Permanent Missions to the Organization of American States (OAS) and is honored to inform that the OAS and KDI School of Public Policy and Management, have decided to continue promoting educational opportunities for the development of human capital of the Organization's member states, by offering scholarships for the following programs:

  • Master of Public Policy (MPP)
  • Master of Development Policy (MDP)
  • Master of Public Management

The programs will begin in early February 2019 and will be taught in English at KDI School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea. The application deadline for this scholarship program is October 15, 2018.

The scholarships being offered include:

  • Registration fee
  • Tuition
  • Air transportation
  • Monthly living stipend
  • Medical insurance

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea has informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade that qualified individuals are being invited to submit applications for the 2019 International Energy Policy Programme being offered by the Korea University (KU) in Korea. The KU under the Global Energy Technology Policy Professional Programme (GETPPP) offers Master and Ph.D degree programmes for:

  • government officials and energy specialists in developing countries
  • international energy policy specialists and enrich human resources to provide leadership in the upcoming energy era

The Swiss Government through the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS), is inviting interested applicants to apply for doctoral, postdoctoral and research fellowship scholarships, to pursue studies and/or research at public funded universities or recognized institutions in Switzerland for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Applications are subjected to a preliminary selection conducted by the relevant national authorities. The short-listed applications are then analyzed by the FCS which makes the final decision.

The applicant must:

  • Not be older than 35 years of age at the time of submitting the application
  • Provide a letter or email from a professor from the Swiss host institution stating that he/she is willing to supervise the research
  • Have a research proposal including a timeframe. It should be noted that this is an integral part of the application.
  • Be in command of the necessary language skills required for the research. The approved languages are English, French, German or Italian.

The Department of Human Development, Education and Employment (DHDEE) of the Executive  Secretariat  for  Integral  Development presents  its  compliments to  the  Permanent Missions to the Organization of American States and has the honor to inform that through the OAS Partnerships Program for Education and Training (PAEC), and Soluciones   Integrales  de Formacion  y  Gestion  (STRUCTURALIA),   it is offering scholarships for online master programs in areas of engineering, energy and infrastructure.

The programs will be taught in Spanish starting on May 10, 2018, with a length of 1 or two years, depending on the study program.
