With another Traffic Ticket Amnesty now in effect from November 27, 2017 – January 13, 2018, Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is advising motorist that its system has been modified to accommodate payments for outstanding traffic tickets issued September 2010 to October 31, 2017. Persons may make payments online at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm with any valid credit card or by visiting any tax office island wide, by presenting their traffic ticket(s) or the providing the ticket number(s) for easy processing.
With the online facility recording the highest collections of all TAJ collection points on the final day of the recently ended Traffic Ticket Amnesty, the tax authority is encouraging persons to utilise the online payment facility which provides a fast, secure and convenient option for persons wishing to clear their outstanding fines.
Persons may also opt to conduct their online transaction at any major Tax Office at the designated eTaxSpot, to get support from TAJ personnel while conducting their online traffic ticket transactions.
Persons seeking support to make queries about any outstanding tickets are directed to contact the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Call Centre at 948-0411 Mondays to Friday (8am- 4pm).
