The Public Sector Learning Framework (PSLF) A strategic approach to HR management and development in the public sector will require policies and programmes which facilitate the development of employees across the sector in terms of the skills and competencies needed for the sector to meet its overall strategic goals.
Performance Management and Appraisal System (PMAS) A robust and effective system of performance management, aligned with organisational strategies and objectives is central to the success of human resource management. The system developed by the Cabinet Office, has been implemented in a small number of entities to date. The intention is for the roll out to be restarted after the system has been reviewed and refined where necessary.
